2023 Shop news.
I am now charging a 3% fee for all Visa, Mastercard and AMEX payment transactions. You will have an option of advising your payment method when I call you upon completion of your repair. Debit payment will continue to be no fee. I gladly accept cash for payment as well.
It is now official, I will be in the Cambridge location until the end of May 2023. I will accept repairs until the beginning of May 2023. I will be shut down for June, July and part of August, and I will re-open part-time sometime in August 2023, but I will be on the Bruce Peninsula. Please watch for details.

Amps Plus will be accepting only guitar and bass amplifiers for repair. I will refer other repairs to various other repair shops.
I will not longer accept any mixer or studio gear.

ALL repairs on these items will be referred on to Anodyne Audio in Cambridge.
Note: no longer taking any newer Traynor items. I will continue to repair older Traynor tube amps.
All other Traynor and Yorkville items should be taken to your local L&M and sent to Yorkville through that channel.
No longer accepting any newer Peavey amps, and no warranty Peavey items. I will repair older Peavey guitar amps still.

My hours are 10-5, Monday to Thursday, Friday 10- 4. For customers that cannot come during those times, please call me to discuss.
Customers can still drop off repairs and pick them up at the retailers I have been providing service for; these include Long and McQuade in Burlington and Hamilton, Get Loud Music in Milton, Mountain Music in Hamilton, Broadway Music in Orangeville, and Ernie King Music in Goderich. If you are in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, please call me, and arrange to come see my new shop space. If leaving a repair at L&M Hamilton, please advise them the repair is to go to Amps Plus. They will inform me your repair is there.
I also repair for various other dealers around Ontario. I am committed to making your service experience great in both quality and convenience.
I will celebrate 32 years in business in the spring of 2023. Thousands of amps repaired. I have enjoyed my new shop location, and repairing your amps. I will continue in Cambridge until end of May 2023.
