NEW DROP OFF LOCATIONS!
I have set up a new drop off location with Ryan MacKinnon of Mackinnon Guitars in Kitchener. You will book in a drop off time on his website and leave the amp(s) there for me to pickup. I will drop them off back there once done. I anticipate going once per month at this time. The website is mackinnonguitars.com. See the link on the LINKS page.
Also, Ryan at Bob's Guitar repair in Kitchener has agreed to take in amps for me once again. Please contact him for hours and a drop off schedule. 519-574-1707. I will get some repair tags to both of these locations again so you will have a pickup tag.
I continue to work full time in a position in Tobermory. I am still doing some amp repair in my shop. I cannot guarantee repair time for amps at this time. I am shooting for getting amps done within 1 month and making a trip to Kitchener once per month. If it gets busier, I will amend that. I had done repairs for the Burlington L&M store for over 30 years. The L&M chain has made some internal policy changes, and the arrangement I had made with L&M regarding getting amps transferred to the Owen Sound location for me is still happening. However, their policy is that they only service what they sell. If you bought it at L&M, you can take it to the Burlington L&M store, and ask them to transfer it to Owen Sound for me to repair. It will be repaired once I pick it up in Owen Sound, and then delivered back to Owen Sound for transfer to Burlington. You can pay for the repair at the Burlington location.
If you bought your amp elsewhere, or have an older Fender, Marshall or other brand, please take it to my pickup locations in Kitchener.
Alternately, if you wish to drive a bit, I visit my son in Listowel at least once per month; sometimes it is in Port Elgin. However, if I get some demand for amp repairs again, I will be sure to go to Listowel at least once per month as well.
